This is a plain-English summary of how HireRound handles your data. It is placeholder policy content and will be replaced with our full legal terms before general availability.
We collect the account details you give us (name, email), the context you upload to train HireRound (your CV, notes, and target job descriptions), and live audio while a session is running so we can generate suggestions in real time.
Your data is used to power your Copilot, mock interviews, and reports. Live audio is transcribed for in-session suggestions and is discarded after the session unless you explicitly choose to save a recording.
We do not sell your data, and we never train shared models on your private context. Your trained context stays isolated to your workspace.
You can export or delete your data at any time from your settings. Deleting your workspace removes your trained context and any saved recordings.
Live transcripts are held in memory and discarded when a session ends. Recordings, when enabled, follow the retention window you set (90 days by default).
